And I have 58 new followers (8 stopped followed me for some reason) with total number of 1,693 followers!
I did not add any followers from the "follow back" lists.
This week I am focusing on trying to spread the word about the idea of new hashtags:
1. #newt helps newbies to acquire their first followers. Please search for this hashtag and follow those that tweeted it
2. #1f for those of us that followed newbies (like saying "I DID IT!")
The message/tweet for newbies is " Proud to be 1 of your 1st followers #1f Looking 4 new friends- add #newt (& friends will find u)" - limited to Twitter format
For those who followed newbies and want to spread the word - please retweet: " PLZ RT: LET'S WELCOME NEWBIES BY FOLLOWING A FEW! IT'S SO SIMPLE! If you follow newbie - ADD HASHTAG #1f! "
After 3 days of search for newbies (I found 125) and tweeting to everyone of them only 3% of them used this hashtag to find new friends on Twitter.
